Kristina Jacobs

Kristina Jacobs, a beloved educator and devoted woman of faith, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. Born in Miami, Florida, Kristina lived a life dedicated to teaching, creativity, and her unwavering relationship with God.

Kristina pursued her passion for education at Barry University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. She later completed her Master of Science in Education at Nova University. Her career as an educator was marked by excellence and compassion. Kristina was a gifted teacher who was honored numerous times as Teacher of the Year. She had a special talent for working with preschoolers and kindergarteners, particularly children with disabilities. Her creativity and artistry shone through in her teaching methods, making her classroom a place of joy and discovery for her students. Kristina formed meaningful connections not only with her students but with their parents, her colleagues and her classroom helpers who became some of her closest friends.

Outside the classroom, Kristina loved creating art and attending art shows and the theater with friends, finding inspiration in the creativity around her. As an ardent admirer of wildlife, she especially cherished visiting bird and turtle sanctuaries. Animals held a special place in Kristina’s heart, particularly her beloved dalmatians, Lizzie (x2) and Jazzy.

Kristina’s life was deeply rooted in her faith. She maintained a close relationship with God and sought to glorify Him through every aspect of her life. Her faith provided strength and hope during challenging times, inspiring those around her. Kristina believed wholeheartedly in God’s power to heal while living fully surrendered to His will; a testament to her profound trust and devotion.

Kristina is survived by her sister Kimberly J. Doerr and brothers Steven Jacobs and James Jacobs. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary Jacobs.

Kristina will be remembered not only for her remarkable contributions as an educator but also for her positive outlook on life, boundless creativity, love for animals, and steadfast faith in God. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched.

May Kristina’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Mass will be held on February 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton, FL.

In honor of Kristina's life and in lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF).
