Kristina (Kristy) Diane (Arvin) Hamm

Kristina Diane (Arvin) Hamm, aged 52, passed away on October 5, 2023, in Canton, Ohio. Born on March 19, 1971, she grew up in Ashland, Ohio, attending Ashland High School and graduating from Central Christian in Kidron, Ohio.
Kristy was known for her artistic, creative spirit and loved her dogs. She enjoyed dog grooming and as well as being a nail technician. Her artistic talents did not go unnoticed, as she created numerous art pieces throughout her life, winning many awards. Her joy and creativity extended to her family and to her love for her Australian Shepherds, Nakoda and Quinnie, with Nakoda tragically passing alongside her.
She is survived by her parents, Steve and Diane Hamm of Lake Wales, Florida; sister Dee Dee Fetters, brother-in-law Jerry Fetters II, and niece Charisa Joy Fetters of Rural Hall, North Carolina; and her uncle Rick Edie of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Kristy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth Hamm of Dover, Ohio, and Gerald and Thelma Edie of New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Kristy's faith was an essential part of her life, and she cherished her relationship with Jesus. Her hobbies included beautiful drawings which now many family members enjoy and cherished time she spent with her beloved dogs.
A memorial service was held in Lake Wales, Florida, in March of 2024, attended by her friends and family. In memory of Kristy, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Stark County, Louisville, Ohio, which cared for her dogs after her passing. Her life left an unforgettable mark on those who knew her, and she was incredibly loved and will be deeply missed.
