Kristine (Kris) Savary Bradley, 65, passed away on January 22, 2026. Port Orange, FL is where she and husband called home for the last 11 years. Born on October 5, 1960, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Kris lived a life defined by compassion, inner strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to others.

Kris earned her B.S. degree in Nursing from Kean University and later completed a Certificate in Education and School Nursing from Seton Hall University. Her professional journey began in New Jersey in hospital settings where she worked on Medical/Surgical and Neurological floors. With time, she transitioned into school nursing which was certainly her calling. Working as a school nurse and health educator allowed her to combine her medical expertise with her passion for nurturing young lives. Her career reflected not only her skill as a nurse, but also her deep commitment to care and advocacy.

Kris was a devoted wife to her husband John Bradley whom she was married to for 39 years. She was a loving mother to two very special daughters: Nashunda Squier and her husband Mark, and Kisha Allen and her husband Mike. She was also a cherished sister to Kevin Savary and his wife Donna, and Kim Stall and her husband Rick. Additionally, she had a very strong relationship with her sister-in-law Kathleen Sumner. She is also survived by her other sister-in-law, Darlene Savary. Her family circle extended lovingly to include six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was very close with her aunt Marilyn Archey and had a tight bond with her uncle Michael McMahon.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gail Savary, father Bernard Savary, brother Kirk Savary, uncle Frank Archey, aunt Joan Bauchiero, uncle Barry McMahon and uncle Clifford Savary. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Keith Dowdell.

Kris's life was marked by an indomitable spirit. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), she refused to let the disease define or limit her. Instead, she became a passionate advocate for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, raising awareness and pushing for change with the same strength that characterized every aspect of her life. She believed deeply in justice and never hesitated to speak out when something was wrong. Silence was never an option for Kris; she stood firmly for what she believed in.

Her presence lit up every room she entered—her smile was constant, her energy infectious. She loved fiercely—her family near and far and always held close in heart—and worried about others even when facing challenges of her own. Her ever-present strength inspired all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humor along with a unique sarcastic wit that just added to who she was.

She had a deep love for travel. She truly appreciated the opportunities to travel when she was living overseas, first in London and then later in Zurich. She especially enjoyed cruising the open seas—a reflection of both her adventurous spirit and appreciation for life's beauty. In moments of rest, Kris found joy in puzzles, especially jigsaw puzzles—and games that brought people together to share both laughter and challenges.

May the memory of Kris bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of courage, determination, compassion, and conviction will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.

A Funeral Mass will be held on February 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany. The address of the church is 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family would urge you to consider a contribution to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (https://www.nationalmssociety.org) in her memory.
