Kuljit Kaur Bhogal (Matharu) passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2026. She was the youngest of five siblings born in New Delhi, India to Pritam Singh Matharu and Mohinder Kaur Matharu. She is survived by her husband Bachittar Singh Bhogal, her youngest daughter Balpreet Bhogal, eldest daughter Pamneit Bhogal, son-in-law Jeffrey Padden, and granddaughters Anjali Bhogal Padden and Jasleen Bhogal Padden.
Kuljit was a devoted member of the Sangat with a bottomless, giving heart. She tirelessly enjoyed helping her community and friends. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and carried the title of “best Nani in the world”. Besides excelling in anything involved with the financial world, Kuljit loved many things; but most of all, she loved to spend her time traveling, cooking, gardening, watching “The Amazing Race”, “Survivor”, and her Philadelphia Eagles.
As a founding member of the Mata Gujri Sikh Society, she fearlessly poured her heart and soul into creating a place of worship for the Sangat. No matter the time, day or night, she was ready to handle anything. Even at the end of her illness, she found joy and strength in helping the Sangat.
Kuljit will be missed by many friends and community members, but most of all, her family. May she find peace with joining Waheguru Ji.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004 with cremation to follow. Akhand Path and Sehaj Path Bhog will follow at 4:30 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Mata Gujri Sikh Society of Cherry Hill, 11 Allison Drive, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08003.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mata Gujri Sikh Society of Cherry Hill.
