Kym Hurley, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. She was the devoted mother of Blake and Zora Hurley. She is survived by her siblings, Matthew Abell, Janet Hurley-Quackenbush, Jillian Call, Tiffany Hurley and David Hurley and her parents Karen Abell and James Hurley. Kym is remembered as a dedicated educator and a supportive friend and sibling. She always found the positive in a situation, was deeply committed to her family, and appreciated nature.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23 at 11am, at The Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring.
