Kyndra Jade Fields, 19, of Rye, Colorado, passed away on March 21, 2026. Born on February 19, 2007, in Pueblo, Colorado, Kyndra brought immense joy and light to the lives of all who knew her.
Kyndra was pursuing her high school diploma while simultaneously taking college courses at PCC. She so cherished the days with her father, driving to and from school and just getting to talk about life and laugh together. She was set to graduate this May, a milestone her parents will honor by receiving her diploma on her behalf. Her dream was to become an ultrasound technician, travel the world, and provide low-cost care to women in need, which is a testament to her compassionate and giving nature.
Kyndra worked alongside her mother at their newly opened business, The Comfort Ability. As the backup Administrator, contracted through the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), she had earned her certification for home-based care administration. Kyndra played a vital role in the business, from designing and decorating the office to managing daily operations. Her dedication and creativity were instrumental in its success.
She is survived by her parents, Cassandra Choate (James McDonald) and Jeff Fields (Kayleigh Fields); her siblings, Elyssa Fields (Justin Berger), Deyana Fields, Evan Fields, Nathaniel Cole, Bella Bond, Aiden Giadone, Lexy Tate (Gabe Tate), and Mya Nicolaide (Jack Nicolaide); and her one true love, Austin Berger. Kyndra also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends who loved her dearly.
Kyndra is preceded in death by her baby who passed in utero; a niece or nephew who passed in utero; an older sibling who passed in utero; her grandfathers Dwight Fields and Richard Choate; her uncle Sid Swartwood; and her cousin Jacob Swartwood.
Kyndra's life was filled with passions that reflected her vibrant spirit. She loved sports as a child and played softball from elementary school through her freshman year of high school. Playing alongside the same teammates for years created lasting bonds that she cherished deeply. She also played volleyball throughout her youth and into her teenage years, sharing the court and field with her sisters is a memory she held especially dear.
Her artistic side flourished through arts and crafts. Kyndra loved painting, creating jewelry, decorating her room, making personalized gifts, and designing unique clothing pieces. Kyndra was a sucker for a good rom-com. She would often cuddle up on her bed with her dogs or her cats. She loved animals and treated them like they were her best friends. Often accompanied by music blasting in the background as she sang and danced with joy, Kyndra's creativity knew no bounds.
Faith was an important part of Kyndra's life. Raised as a Christian and saved at a young age, she found comfort in scripture as she grew older. Recently embracing a non-denominational faith in Christ as her savior, she surrounded herself with Bible verses displayed throughout her room and journals to guide her path.
Kyndra's personality radiated warmth and joy. Her smile could light up an entire room, and her laughter resonated deeply with those around her. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen and valued. Her empathetic heart often carried the weight of others' emotions alongside her own struggles with epilepsy and mood disorder—a challenge she faced with remarkable strength.
To those who knew Kyndra, she was a source of profound love and happiness. Her hugs were filled with such genuine affection that they felt like an embrace of the soul. The love she gave was deep and enduring. This is a gift that will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Though Kyndra's time on earth was far too short, the impact she made will be everlasting. Her passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who loved her. We take solace in knowing that we will one day reunite with her in His Kingdom. That will be the most glorious day!
May Kyndra Jade Fields' memory bring comfort to all who mourn her loss. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 11, 2026, from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Rye High School, 8083 CO-165.
