L. Wesley “Wes” Weatherford

Wes was born on May 16, 1978 to Lonnie Weatherford and Jeanne Freeman. He grew into a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, protective brother and loyal friend whose presence brought strength, laughter and steady kindness to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Lynne, son, Grant, daughter, Brooklynne, who were the pride and joy of his life. His parents Lonnie and Joan Weatherford and Mark and Brenda Kalakay.

Wes leaves behind his special Aunt Earnestine; sisters Taylor (Jay) Paulsen, Korrie (Ian) Lund, Leigha (Aaron) Lugo, Caitlin Kalakay and God-sister Telay Kendrick; nephews Evan, Blake, Owen, Jaxson, Jax, Luciano and niece Haley; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends like family who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanne Darlene Freeman; his grandparents Marty and Ora Suggs, Frances and Bud Freeman, Patricia “Pat” Jackson and Wilma Kalakay; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Wes will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his unwavering loyalty to friends, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
