Lacy E. "Red" Alderson was born on February 18, 1937, and entered eternal life on December 12, 2025, while holding his wife's hand and surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances; his brothers, Aaron, Edward, and Jack Alderson; as well as his sisters, Arline Brenner and Elsie Hudson.
Red is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Christine Alderson; his stepson and daughter-in-law, Jason and Heather Peace. His proudest title was "Papa" to his grandchildren, Katelyn, Madeline, and Jacob Peace, who lovingly adored him. He is also survived by his brothers, James and Stewart Alderson; his sisters, Deborah Hyllestad, Grace Buttiro, and Shirley Joslin, as well as various nieces and nephews.
Red's presence will be deeply missed. His legacy reflects a man devoted to his family above all else, shown through the love, loyalty, and memories he leaves behind.
Per his request, in lieu of a traditional funeral, a celebration of life is being planned. Details will be shared once finalized.
