Laraine Joyce (Dayton) Campbell, age 64, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Lorain, Ohio. She resided in LaGrange, Ohio.
Laraine was born on August 19, 1961, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Wanda Dayton. She was a graduate of Pine-Richland High School and La Roche College. A devoted advocate for social justice, Laraine never hesitated to stand up for what she felt was right.
Laraine had a profound love and compassion for animals, especially rescue dogs, and opened her heart to many over the years. She also found joy in gardening and upcycling thrifted furniture and home décor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Campbell; her daughter, Laura (Campbell) White; her son, Michael Campbell; her brother, Larry Dayton; and her family's devoted rescue dog, Juno.
In keeping with her family's wishes, memorial services will be private at this time.
