Larry Grantham

Larry Eugene Grantham, 78, passed away on November 14, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Born on October 18, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee, Larry was the son of Bessie and Percy Dave Grantham. He grew up in Memphis and graduated from Treadwell High School.

Following his education, Larry served his country with honor in the United States Navy Reserve. Holding the rank of AN (Airman), he was assigned to Squadron Sixty-Three at Naval Air Station Miramar in California. His time in the Navy reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment to something greater than himself.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gail Grantham. Together they built a family that brought him great pride and joy. He also is preceded in death by dear friend Margaret Ogle. He is survived by his daughters Hope Liles and Rena Grantham; his son Blake Grantham and daughter in law Kaitlyn; as well as his siblings Pat Shaw, Gary Grantham, Bill Brehm and several nieces and nephews. Larry's grandkids, Tanner, Grahm, Harper, Mason, and Karolyne brought him such great happiness.

Larry's life was shaped by deep roots in Tennessee and a steadfast devotion to those he held dear. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire strength and unity among his loved ones.
