Lary Alan Lingenfelter, 57, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 27, 2026. Born in Farmington, Michigan on March 10, 1968 to the late Albert and Joan (Rybski) Lingenfelter. He attended Lutheran High School West. He retired from Perfection Industries after 25 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Megen, and husband Jacob Neace, son Aaron, and wife Alexus Lingenfelter; his two grandchildren, Lucas Ford and Amara Lingenfelter. He is also survived by sisters, Cari, her husband Steve Campbell, and Teri, her husband Ray Alexander along with nieces and nephews, Jason, Collin, Lisa, Jeffrey, and Shea. In addition to his parents, Lary is preceded in death by his nephew, Brendan.
Lary was a very funny, loving, hardworking man. He was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid sports fan and loved the outdoors whether that be fishing, relaxing by the fire, or gardening. He cherished spending time with his family. Lary was a great storyteller and would normally be found with a beer in his hand. He was known to be extremely giving to others. Lary was great with kids and loved making the holidays special for them.
The family would like to extend immense gratitude to St. Croix Hospice due to their outstanding care and support during their time of need. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Lary's name to Hospice Support Foundation. This foundation supports hospice patients, their loved ones, and hospice workers affiliated with any hospice agency including St. Croix Hospice.
