LaTanya Elaine Shufford (62) Born May 10, 1962- March 24,2026 of Gary, Indiana to Father, Eddie L Shufford of Alabama and Mother, Melvina B Shufford-Jones of Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Emerson High School June 5, 1980. Tanya studied in the field of phlebotomy and medical billing and coding. She had a distinguished career, of over 30years, at Gary Health Department. Serving her community as a Fiscal and intake clerk. Being a loving grandmother, gardening and loving her two dogs Pharoh and Riley was her favorite pastime activities. Along with shopping, watching Gunsmoke and the Boondocks. Latanya was preceded in death by her father Eddie L Shufford, Aunt Mary Shufford, Cousin Kevin Shufford, Sister in law Anglela Shufford, grandparents Beatrice Copeland and Frank Jones, Luke and Alberta Shufford. She leaves to morn her passing Mother Melvina B Shufford- Jones, stepmother Patricia Shufford, Son Danny Rounds Jr., Granddaughter Paige A. Rounds, Brothers Luke (Chasity) Shufford, Lennell (Dominque) Shufford, Frank Summers, Eddie Jr, Christoper Shufford, Aunt Margaret Schruender.
