Lawrence Edward Evers Jr

Larry was born in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Huntington High School, he served in the US Navy. The GI Bill allowed him to attend Hofstra University, where he received a BA in Biology that prepared him for his career as a science teacher. In 1957, Larry married Anni Saladauski, who he loved and cared for until her death in 2018. Larry and Anni raised their four children (Christine, Lawrence III, Robert, and Ronald) in Centereach NY. He passed on to us an appreciation of nature, a respect for science, and a responsibility to help others. His later life was greatly enhanced by his close relationships with his four grandchildren, and most recently with his first great grandchild.
