Larry Lieberum passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, after a courageous and determined battle with an aggressive form of cancer. He was 67 years old.
Larry was a gifted pianist, composer, and musician whose life was deeply rooted in music. He began honing his craft in Chicago and went on to perform with remarkable artists and bands across the United States and Europe. His music was soulful, expressive, and unmistakably his — a reflection of the depth, kindness, and creativity that defined him as a person.
Beyond his talent, Larry was known for his strength, positivity, and unwavering spirit. Even in the face of profound challenges, he remained hopeful, gentle, and deeply loving. He faced his illness with courage and grace, never giving up and always thinking of others.
Larry recently made his home in Arizona with his beloved wife, Terrie, after many years in Chicago. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished brother, and a deeply loved member of his family. He was also a loyal friend and a kind, generous soul who left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In accordance with Larry's wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
Larry's legacy lives on through his music, the lives he touched, and the love he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
