Dr. Lee Gary Craddock, aged 87, passed away on December 8, 2025 at his home in Anniston, AL. He was born on September 13, 1938, in Humboldt, TN. He graduated from Humboldt High School as class president, co-captain of the football team and Mr. HHS. Dr. Craddock attended the University of Mississippi where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Upon receiving his B.S. and Medical Degrees from the University of Alabama and completing his internship and residency at Lloyd Noland Hospital in Birmingham, AL, Dr. Craddock practiced as an OB-GYN physician in Anniston until his retirement in 2003.
Gary is survived by his wife, JoAnne Gish Craddock, brothers Dr. Ben David Craddock (Dorene) , Dr. Robert Quenton Craddock (Jacqueline), sons Keith Gary Craddock (Monica), Christopher Quenton Craddock and daughter Kelli Craddock Terry (Gregg); grandchildren Riley Nicole Craddock, Braden Reed Craddock, Sellers Craddock Elkins (Megan), Samuel Christopher Elkins (Alexis) and Sidney Clayton Elkins (Carrye Ann Rainer, fiancé); great-grandchildren Sawyer Edge Elkins, Samuel Cade Elkins and Sloan Elijah Elkins; neice Kim Craddock Walker (William) and nephews Michael Robert Craddock, Reese Quenton Craddock, Robert Maxwell Craddock and Ben Crawford Craddock; great-neices Merry Allyson Walker Clegg (Ford) and Emma Kate Walker Canterbury (Christopher) and great-nephew William Edward Walker, IV. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius Quenton Craddock and Emma Dee Pruett Craddock. Special thanks and appreciation to Gary's long-time friend Shelly Painter and caregiver Carl Davis.
