Leila Ruth Hendricks, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in Fresno, California. She was born on July 16, 1958, at Ryukus Camp Kue in Okinawa, Japan, to John and Leila Bouscher, both of whom preceded her in death.

Leila lived most of her life in Spanaway, Washington, where she built a distinguished career in the banking industry, specializing in commercial loans for over 30 years. Her dedication and professionalism earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Leila is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Dennis (Bob), John, Jerry, Jane, and Sandy, as well as her children: James, Angela, Sarah, Josiah, Rebecca, and Amy. She was a devoted grandmother to twelve grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life. Their hearts will forever carry her memory. Leila was preceded in death by her beloved son Jonathan, whose presence remained deeply cherished throughout her life.

Known for her warmth and compassion, Leila had a special place in her heart for animals and was often found lending a helping hand to neighbors and friends. Leila found joy in giving presents to her family, creating handmade crafts, and sewing. Her love for animals was evident in her tender care for them. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
