Liam Patrick Pfeifer, age 15, of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on April 2, 2026. Born on June 10, 2010, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Liam was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend whose presence brought light and joy to all who knew him.
Liam was the beloved son of Felicia Marie Pfeifer and Patrick Joseph Pfeifer and the adored younger brother of Ashley Marie Pfeifer, Katelyn Desarae Pfeifer, and McKenzie Anne Pfeifer. He was also the treasured grandson of Lucille (Michael) Heintz and Jeanette (Fredrick) Pfeifer. Liam is deeply missed by his uncles Jason Pfeifer, Eric Pfeifer, Shaun Heintz, and Michael Heintz. His family dog(s) Bella (Woofer & Oscar) were also constant companions in his life, not forgetting Winter, the family bunny. He is reunited in peace with his grandfathers Fredrick Frank Pfeifer and Michael Joseph Heintz Sr., who preceded him in death.
Liam's life was filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Known for his kind heart and compassionate spirit, he had an extraordinary ability to bring smiles to all those around him. His sense of humor and strength were matched only by his deep love for his family—especially his three older sisters with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. To Mom and Dad, Liam was their sweet, smart, beautiful boy.
Liam found joy in life's simple pleasures. Whether gaming with friends or embarking on family vacations filled with exploration and fun, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm. Western camping trips under the stars were among his favorite adventures, as were movie nights spent laughing together with friends and loved ones. Liam had a natural gift for storytelling that captivated everyone who listened. His love for music and dancing brought energy to any room he entered. His father always said Liam was the only person to ever match or even exceed his sense of humor.
He will be remembered for the happiness he spread through his curiosity and sweet nature. Liam's compassion extended beyond his family; he touched the lives of friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though Liam's time with us was far too short, his memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved him. May we honor his legacy by carrying forward the kindness and joy he so effortlessly shared.
"Bravery, fearlessness of the unknown and courageousness are just a few words to describe our sweet boy, he is and will always be our hero"
This is not goodbye, it's see you later.
May Liam rest in eternal peace surrounded by love and live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
