Lilian G (Ferry) Farace, 95, Orlando, Florida, originally from McKeesport, (Versailles Borough), PA. died January 23.2026, Lillian was born January 16, 1931, to the late Geno and Mary Ferry and the sister of the late Gene S. Ferry (Loretta).
Lillian married Nicholas (Nick) Farace in June 1953.
She was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McKeesport, PA and a graduate of McKeesport High School. She was a secretary for over 40 years with her last employment being with Emmett A Pais, CPA, in White Oak, PA.
Lillian was best known for her annual Christmas parties featuring her homemade barbeque sauce, lady lock cookies, and her holiday hand-made ceramics. In her younger days, she and Nick enjoyed roller skating and annual trips to Wildwood, NJ. Later, Lillian and Nick, developed close relationships through the church. She was a proud member of the "breakfast club" and enjoyed Sundays after church frequenting local establishments for breakfast with her friends. Those relationships developed into solid friendships of which she continually cherished.
Lillian was married to Nick for 64 years, truly her friend, partner and confidant. "Nick and Lil" became an automatic phrase to all who knew them as they were always together. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Carole L. Farace, Orlando, Florida, son Anthony (Tony) Farace, Washington County, PA, granddaughter, Amber (Parola) Zaccone, South Carolina, and sister Darlene (Jack) Santone, McKeesport, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews, grandnieces/nephews and 15 God children spanning three generations via baptism and/or confirmation.
She was well-known to be a loving and dedicated Mother, Aunt, Sister and a steadfast, life-long friend to those "special few". Lillian touched the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. In short, she was always kind, caring and sincere of which no one would deny even for a second. She will be greatly missed by all.
Lillian will be joining her husband, Nick at St. Joseph's Cemetery in North Versailles, PA.
