Lincoln John Scandrett Williams

Lincoln, born December 18, 2004, was raised in Oakland, California. He was a scientist, an artist, a musician, and most importantly a devoted friend. He died of natural causes on April 28, 2024. Lincoln was studying mechanical engineering at The Cooper Union in New York City. He was a gifted musician and was greatly influenced by his grandfather, Dr. John Scandrett. Lincoln loved animals and nature and spent many hours on Mount Tam watching the sunset. He was beloved by many people—friends, teachers, artists, parents. Lincoln was extraordinary. He had the ability to deeply connect with people. Whether someone wanted a snack, a study partner, a confidant, Lincoln was there. He is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His light continues to shine.
