On April 3, 2026, Linda Irene Collier (nee Hutchins), 80, passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease at Citizens Care in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Monterey, California on October 6, 1945, Linda was the daughter of the late Ola Mae Heck and Paul Hutchins, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charlie Collier, of Havre de Grace, MD; a daughter, Dawn Fender (Steve) of Baltimore, MD; a son, David Fender (Carolyn) of Bel Air, MD; a sister, Madelyn Manos (David) of Hill, New Hampshire; and 4 grandchildren – Annabelle Gibson, Clara Gibson, Hannah Fender and Gavin Fender. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Harvey Heck; and brother, Paul Hutchins Jr. Linda worked for many years as a secretary at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, MD. Then, she worked alongside Charlie as a truck driver and their travel took them through much of the US. She and Charlie loved restoring vintage street rods and spending time with their pets together. Linda also enjoyed doing extensive genealogical research for her family. Services for Linda will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Linda’s name to the American Diabetes Association or The Humane Society of Harford County.
