Linda Susan Czub

Linda Susan Czub was born on September 25, 1952. She was a lifelong resident of Uniondale, Long Island, New York.

Linda graduated from Uniondale High School and studied business education at SUNY at Albany. She continued her education at Hofstra University, where she earned degrees in special education and administration and supervision. She taught business education in Hewlett and North Babylon schools. At Turtle Hill Junior High School and Uniondale High School, she was a special education teacher. She dedicated her life to education, teaching for 35 years.

In her spare time, Linda often enjoyed music and dancing. She was a talented pianist, playing the piano for friends, family, and holiday celebrations. She loved traveling abroad and cruising, especially to Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean. She spent her summers enjoying the coastal beaches in Ocean City, Maryland, Delaware, and Florida.

Linda was a creative decorator. Her Christmas, Easter, and holiday displays were spectacular. She was a fantastic host and loved entertaining.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary (Liguz) Czub. She is survived by her cousins: Theresa Meketen, Anthony Damadeo, Chris (Liz) Krzciuk, Joseph (Michelle) Damadeo, Jessica Krzciuk, Robert (Danielle) Damadeo, and Katrina Milton, as well as numerous members of the Kolodziejczyk and Liguz families.

Her outgoing personality attracted many friends, and her zest for life was contagious. She was fondly loved by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Hempstead Funeral Home/Senko Funeral Home, 89 Peninsula Blvd #4990 in Hempstead, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Monday, March 9, 2026, at St. Ladislaus’ Roman Catholic Church, 18 Richardson Pl. in Hempstead, NY. Burial will follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, in Westbury, NY.

Flower donations are welcomed. Donations can be made in Linda Czub’s memory to some of her favorite charities: St. Ladislaus’ Roman Catholic Church, The Polish Gift of Life, Inc., or The Kosciuszko Foundation.
