Linda Freitag

Linda Freitag died peacefully in her sleep on Dec 10, 2025 in Fond du Lac, WI. She was born Jan 25,1943 in Kankakee, IL. She lived in Kankakee for 79 years with her husband Stephen Freitag.

She is survived by her daughter Christine Freitag; siblings: Estelle Springer and Merdov Kirchman. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Freitag and siblings: Richard Kirchman, Russell Kirchman, Joan Kirchman and Doreen Lagacy.
Linda was a long time member and employee of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School. She loved working with the children and volunteering in various roles at the church. In her spare time, she loved crafts of all sorts, reading, and vacationing in Wisconsin. Her final days were spent watching Christmas movies and enjoying visits with family and her grand-pup. Per her request, there will be no service.
