Linda Honeycutt Hill, born in Humphreys County Mississippi in 1943, passed away
peacefully on 2/20/26 after a brief illness.
She lived a life marked by independence, determination, and a commitment to helping others.
In 1961, she married her childhood sweetheart, James Taylor Hill. They celebrated their 64thyear of marriage this past December.
She is survived by her four children: Debbie Allen (Tim) of Fort Smith, AR; James Hill Jr. ( Heather) and Robert Stacy Hill ( Angie), both of Beebe Arkansas; Angie Coghlan ( Ike) Of Hollandale Mississippi. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Linda fulfilled a life-long dream of becoming a nurse at age 50, and spent 20 years working in nursing homes, providing care to those who needed it most. She truly loved her residents. After retirement, she continued serving her community by Volunteering at a local food bank for 13 years.
She made sure that her children were taken care of, especially in tough times. She was a loving and generous grandmother to her eight grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Hettie Honeycutt of Yazoo City,
Mississippi, and her sisters, Joanne Brock of Verona, Mississippi and Paulette Womack of Utica, Mississippi.
The family would like to thank her caregivers at Beebe Retirement Center who gave excellent and timely care during her last 2.5 weeks. There are too many of them to name, but they know who they are. Many thanks to Lifetouch/Arkansas Hospice for their loving care. Special thanks to Michelle, her Hospice daily caregiver, and Jana, her Hospice Nurse.
They were the epitome of gentleness, and comfort to us and our loved one.
At Lindas' request, there will be no public service. We Invite you to please privately
celebrate Lindas 'memory in your own way. We know that she is with us in spirit. Thank you for your understanding and prayers during this difficult time.
