Linda McGowan

Linda Kay McGowan (née Slaten), age 74, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in Florence, South Carolina. Born on March 25, 1951, in Paoli, Indiana. Linda lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family.

Linda is survived by her brother, Everett Goodman; her son, John Slaten; her daughter, Tina Oclair. She was the proud grandmother of three grandchildren: Jonathan, Cody, and Tiffany. Her legacy of love continues through her four great-grandchildren: Amelia, Taryn, Cosette, and Drake. Linda's family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A loving, kind, and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around her.
