It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Linda Jean Myers, age 66, of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully in her home on October 24, 2025. A lifelong resident of South Baltimore, Linda graduated from Western High School in 1977 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in 1983 from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, majoring in Health Science and Policy.
Linda was best known for her deep love and devotion to her family. She cared for her mother at home during a lengthy illness. Despite having her own medical conditions that she faced most of her adult life, she always reached out to loved ones, never missing a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or other significant moment. Her extraordinary intelligence, especially in matters of medicine, made her the family's go-to expert for advice whenever someone was sick or injured, despite never accessing the internet!
Linda's passion for books was matched only by her dedication to being the family historian, meticulously keeping handwritten records of family history and the family tree. She also had a love for figure skating and gymnastics, and her playful spirit is still shared through fond memories of playing Mad Libs at family birthday celebrations and dancing to "Celebration" at midnight on New Year's Eve.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John Frederick and Grace Maybelle Myers of Baltimore, MD, and her brother, John Robert "Bob" Myers of Crofton, MD. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Donna Myers of Bel Air, MD; her niece Patti Rossini (James) of Huntersville, NC; her nephew Jeffrey Myers (Patty) of Bel Air, MD; great nephews and niece Josh, Nick, Jonathan, and Sarah; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Family and friends are invited to share memories and pictures here and memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Medical Center-Mercy Health Foundation 301 St. Paul Place Baltimore, MD 21230.
