Linda Ellen O'Shea

Linda Ellen O'Shea, 79, of Cascade, Colorado passed away on March 13, 2026 at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs. Linda was born on July 10, 1946 in the Mare Island Naval Hospital, Vallejo, California to Arthur Raymond Blummert and Paula Eleanor Blummert.

Linda spent her early years in Florida and New York state eventually settling in the Denver, Colorado area. Linda graduated from George Washington High School in Denver and went on to attend the University of Colorado, Denver.

As a young girl, Linda began studying classical ballet, developing a life-long passion for dance and music, eventually performing with Colorado Ballet. In addition to mentoring and teaching dance to young students in her home, Linda choreographed several Denver area High School musical productions. Linda had a true artist's sensibility, creating works in watercolor, oil, pastel and fantasy and nature figures from fabric media.

In the mid 1960s Linda married Ralph Rucker and three children, Jennifer, Ross and Paul were born to the couple in the Denver area.

In 1985 Linda met her second husband, Christopher O'Shea in Estes Park, Colorado. Linda and Chris relocated to Colorado Springs and married in Sept. 1987. Linda is survived by Ralph Rucker, Christopher O'Shea, sons Ross Rucker and Paul Rucker, daughter-in-law Tiffany Rucker, granddaughters Carissa Rucker, Jackie Stanton and husband Dylan Stanton, grandson Tristan Rucker and great-grand children Aria, Kinsley and Joycelynn Stanton. Her daughter, Jennifer Rucker, preceded her in death.

Linda's beautiful spirit and honesty will be remembered and held dear by all who met her.
