Linda Kay Ratliff 77, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho Born on April 13, 1948, to Earl and Mildred Ratliff in Mitchell, Indiana
Linda spent her formative years in Mitchell Indiana Obtaining her GED later in life.
Linda's career was diverse and fulfilling. She worked at General Motors Truck & Bus plant in Indianapolis for 15 years which was followed by her entrepreneurial venture owning and operating The Upholstery Shop in Southern Florida. Later, she served as a Process Server for Walton County, Florida, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to her professional endeavors.
In her leisure time, Linda was passionate about sewing and reading. She cherished moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandson, imbuing their lives with love and joy.
Linda is survived by her daughter Delynda (Dee Dee) French-Peterson and her husband Ryan, her grandson Anthony (A.J.) Fields, granddaughter Denaye Fields, and great-grandson Ozykiel Ray Delaura, brothers Ronnie, Kenneth and Charles Ratliff, sisters Lois Terrell, Patricia Arnold and Margaret Pluris, numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kimberly Dawn Holt and brothers Richard and James Ratliff.
A service to honor Linda's life will be held at the Spice Valley Church, 1487 Sherwood Rd., Mitchell, Indiana 47446 on March 7, 2026. Friends and family are invited to gather at 12:00 pm, with the service commencing at 1:30 pm
