Linda Ellen Oliver Steinruck, born November 24, 1954, passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2026, after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cared deeply for others. She was always willing to help anyone in need and was known for her kindness and generous spirit. Her faith was central to her life, and she praised the Lord through every storm, remaining strong and faithful until the very end. She was an active member of Journey Christian Church, where she was deeply involved in her small group and formed many meaningful relationships that she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry August Steinruck. She is survived by her daughter, Holli (Wayne); her stepson, Scott (Beth); her sister, Chris; her brother, Sammy; her grandchildren, Austin, Trey, Kai, Alex (Scott), Stephanie (Sam), Tyler, and Ryan (Lindsay); and her great-grandchildren, Sammy and Izaiah, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Sunday, May 3, at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating blood with the American Red Cross. Linda was a universal donor and helped save many lives through her donations.
