Linda Alice Varone - McNally of Inglis, FL passed away on February 13, 2026, while in the care of HPH Hospice Care. Her loving husband Michael McNally was holding her in his arms when she passed.

Linda is survived by her husband Michael McNally, stepdaughter Heather McNally, son Frank J. Varone, daughter Lisa Reilly, granddaughter Meadow Varone, Nicole Stickle, grandsons Tyler Trout and Justin Trout, great grandchildren Kennedi Stickle, Ivy Stickle, and Kasen Stickle.

Linda enjoyed fishing, boating, cruising, and her dogs. However, she was probably happiest when in her kitchen cooking amazing meals for family and friends. Her Italian meals were legendary; however, she also won a national baking contest for her desserts.

Linda had a career as a deputy clerk in the Citrus County courthouse and was also an archivist of county documents.

She believed it was important to give back to her community. After retiring she was recording secretary on the Citrus United Basket Executive Board as well as a guardian ad litem, helping to protect abused children.

Linda was a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church and after moving to Inglis was a member of St. Anthony Mission. She was a Eucharistic Minister at both parishes and provided communion to members of both congregations who were unable to attend mass.

Linda will be missed by all who loved her.
