Lindley Joseph Stout

Lindley "Lindy" Joseph Stout, age 72, passed away on March 19, 2026. He was born on July 27, 1953, and grew up in Grosse Pointe Farms before making his home in Harrison Township, where he lived for more than 40 years.

Lindy is survived by his children, Katie (Greg) Mullin, Rob Stout, Chris (Megan) Stout; and his grandchildren Alex and Emily Mullin. He is also survived by his brother, John (Carol) and sister, Brenda (Jim) Taylor. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Joan Stout and Milton Stout.

Lindy spent many years working in boat sales, a career that reflected his lifelong love of the water. He will be remembered for his quick wit, personality and generosity.

He also shared a special bond with his beloved cat, Wilson, who was a constant companion. He enjoyed life's simple comforts, including his favorite strawberry Pop-Tarts and Diet Coke.

Lindy will be remembered by his family and all who knew him.
