Lois Marie Crabtree (Mothershed), at the age of 68, departed this life to be with the Lord on January 29, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida. She was born on August 7, 1957, in Loxley, Alabama and was a treasured soul who graced her family and community with love and dedication.

Residing previously in Seminole, Alabama, Lois was the devoted wife of the late Donnie Crabtree and cherished mother to their daughter, the late Angel Crabtree. After dedicated service at Walmart, she embraced the role of homemaker, committing herself to the care of her grandson, Daltin Crabtree, whom she and her husband adopted during his infancy. Her role as Nana was her most esteemed calling.

Lois was celebrated for her unwavering kindness and the delight she found in the company of family and friends. The void left by her passing will be felt deeply by all who were blessed to know her.

Mourning her loss are her beloved grandson, Daltin Crabtree; her brothers, Robert Mothershed, Bill (Diane) Mothershed, Henry David Mothershed and Bobby (Renee) Mothershed; her sisters, Shirley (Joe) Jarman and Patsy Frank; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, James and Lonie Mothershed; her beloved husband, Donnie Crabtree; her daughter, Angel Marie Crabtree; her brother, Franklin Mothershed; and her brother-in-law, Edward Frank.

A Celebration of Life service to celebrate Lois's life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on March 7, 2026, at the Northview Baptist Church, 14 Stumpfield Road, Pensacola, Florida.

In remembrance of Lois Marie Crabtree, contributions can be made to a charity of personal choice, in lieu of floral tributes.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Vitas Hospice for their tender care of Lois in her final days and to all those who have offered their support and condolences. May her soul through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
