Lois Katherine Fulkerson passed away August 15th. 2025 at age 89 in Winter Haven, Florida. Lois was born February 1st, 1936 in Fayette, Kentucky to Evelyn and James Conn. Many of her friends and family called her "Kitty." She moved to Florida as a young girl where she later met and married John Hamilton on February 14, 1954 and they had four children Deborah Whittenton (Husband Ben) Sherry Groover (Husband Rick), and both her sons John and Michael Hamilton who preceded her in death. Lois leaves behind several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She met and married Lowell who she always said was the love of her life much later on after our Dad and her went seperate ways.
Lowell passed on many years before Mom and she missed him dearly. They too will be reunited.
Our Mom was great at decorating and was a great cook! She was a huge movie buff and loved watching the old classics. Her knowledge of movies and actors was remarkable. She also loved music and her favorite artist was Elvis, she many times shared her story of meeting him in the 1950s in Orlando after a show. She also loved going to see Elvis Tribute Artist which we enjoyed many shows together.
Mom loved going out and dancing during her lifetime and was a very good ice skater in her youth. She had given to several charities thru her life to help others in need.
Mom had an eye for fashion and loved dressing up and going out.
Mom loved her pets and had several over her years here on earth that she cared for. She especially loved her Cats who have all since passed except for her last Cat Sidney who is being lovingly cared for by her Daughter Debbie.
February 1st 2026 marks Lois First Heavenly Birthday she will be sharing it with many of her loved ones including her sons who she missed dearly, her Brother, Sister, Mother, Father and StepDad and many others who went before her including friends and family.
Mom I will miss our daily talks and all the good times we shared. Thank you for always being there for us. We love you and miss you dearly! Happy Heavenly Birthday!
