Lois June Quintana

We are sad to announce that Lois Matchuny Quintana, our loving mother, beloved grandmother, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on March 14 2026 at the age of 85. Born on 4.9.1940 in Cincinnati OH, Lois grew up in Louisville, KY and moved to Tampa, FL in 1967.

Her gentle spirit and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Whether caring for family, supporting friends, or offering help to those in need, she gave of herself freely and without hesitation. Her kindness knew no limits, and her quiet strength carried her through life's challenges with grace and dignity and resilience.

Everyday moments were brighter simply because she was there. She had an ability to find humor even in difficult moments. She believed that laughter was one of life's greatest gifts and reminded us through her actions to never take life too seriously.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Michelle Triplett O'Sullivan (James) and grandchildren Ryan, Riley and Rory O'Sullivan and Michael and Nicole Triplett, who will forever carry her love, strength, laughter and love in their hearts. She is now with those who have preceded her in death, her husband, Armando Quintana (Andy) her parents Paul and June Matchuny, brother, Don Matchuny, sister in law and best friend, Nora Matchuny, son Michael Triplett and granddaughter Regan O'Sullivan.

Not a day will go by that you won't be missed. Our world changed when you left, but your love fills the void and will continue to guide and inspire. There is peace knowing you are free and watching over us. Until we meet again...
