Lois Rubenstein

Lois (née Brown) Rubenstein, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL, and Wyndmoor, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 87.

Lois graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1956 and married Edward Rubenstein in April 1964. Together, over the decades, they ran a series of businesses, including Star Oldsmobile and Freedom Rent-A-Car in Pennsylvania, and later New Look Car Wash in New Jersey.

Lois shared in Ed's passion for boating and fishing and spent many long weekends aboard their boats, culminating with their pride and joy, Fast Eddie II, a 40-foot Egg Harbor.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward, and one grandson. She leaves behind her son, Jeffrey Rubenstein, and daughter-in-law, Cindy; her daughter, Nicole (née Rubenstein) Kauffman, and son-in-law, Maury; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
