Lorrie Beach (nee Cain), 73, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. Born on November 18, 1952, in Spokane, Washington, Lorrie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

A graduate of Ferris High School in the class of 1971, Lorrie went on to attend Eastern Washington University. While at Eastern she met the love of her life Carl. They were happily married for 51 years.

Lorrie was a devoted wife to her husband Carl and a loving mother to her children Heather (Dan) and Tug (Shelbi). She adored her grandchildren—Brandon, Haley, McKinleigh, and Clayton—who brought immense pride and happiness into her life. Lorrie also shared a close bond with her sister Karen Hiett and treasured her relationships with her sisters-in-law Myrnes (George) Davis and Joyce (Gary) Beach. She was deeply loved by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Edith Cain; in-laws Lois and Francis Beach; brothers-in-law Dick Hiett and Gary Beach; and nephew Craig Beach.

Lorrie's summers were spent at her beloved place on the Pend Oreille River. It was there that she created countless joyful moments pulling kids water skiing, swimming in the river's cool waters, and playing games that brought everyone together. Her love for watching her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews compete in sports and other activities was a testament to the pride she took in their achievements.
Known for her humor and sharp wit, Lorrie's funny and sarcastic nature endeared her to all who knew her. She was not only a mother and grandmother but also a sister, aunt, friend—and above all—a source of unwavering support for those she loved.

May Lorrie's memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2026, 11:00 AM at Darcy's 10512 E Sprague Ave. In lieu of flowers please donate in Lorrie's memory to the Shriners Children's Hospital of Spokane.
