Louis Esposito

Louis N. Esposito, affectionately known as Lou, passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2026, in Frankford, Delaware, surrounded by family. Born on January 9, 1946, in Wilmington, Delaware, Lou was a loving husband to his wife, Cheryl and a devoted father to daughters, Crystal and Michelle and sons, George and Chuck. Lou was known for his love of outdoor activities and his deep connections with family. He spent many weekends engaged in his favorite pastimes: deer hunting, duck hunting, and fishing. Lou's passion for boating was equally strong; he enjoyed spending time on the water with his loved ones, whether it was for fun or to go crabbing.

Lou is survived by his children, Charles E. Bethard, Jr., and Crystal Penn, sister, Sharon and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Cheryl H. Esposito (Fountain), and his son George C. Bethard and daughter Michelle Cummings.

Lou's life was marked by his dedication to his family. His legacy will be remembered through the memories shared by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
