Louis L. Lodovico passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, bringing a quiet close to a long and courageous journey with heart failure. He faced numerous health challenges along the way, overcoming many hurdles and showing incredible resilience until the very end.
There will be no services, as Louis preferred to keep things simple. Louie loved to cook, and he couldn't stop at a gas station without picking up a lottery ticket. He was a simple man with an eye for creativity—always tinkering or collecting all sorts of things.
For over 35 years, Louis worked as a dedicated plumber. He built a reputation not just for his hard work, but for his vibrant personality. Louis had a sharp sense of humor and a special gift for making people laugh, always bringing a bright smile to any room he entered.
He lived his entire life exactly on his own terms. Fiercely independent and always true to himself, Louis carried this exact same spirited philosophy through his final years.
Louis leaves behind a family who will miss him deeply and many others not mentioned. He is survived by his daughter Amy Babikyan and her husband Haig, his cherished granddaughter Alina Babikyan, and his son Louis P. Lodovico, who became his father’s dedicated caretaker in his later years. Louis spent every weekend by his father’s side, and together with Deanna Coggin, whose steady presence and constant support never wavered.
His remarkable strength, endless jokes, and the genuine love he shared with those closest to him will remain in our hearts forever.
We will all miss you, Big Lou.
