Louis Edward Stickle Jr., 83, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Live Oak, California. Born on July 16, 1943, in Newark, Ohio, Louis spent time in the U.S. Navy in the 60s on the Lake Champlain, the ship that picked up Alan Shepherd when he returned from space on Freedom 7, landing in the Atlantic Ocean.

Louis spent most of his career as a Boilermaker with Western Energy Company, which took him to all the western states. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lane (Allen); daughter, Tina (David) Powers of Newark, Ohio; sons Scott (Anna) Stickle of Yuba City, California; and Jeremy Stickle (Melandie Murray) of Live Oak, California, four sisters, a brother, along with numerous grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Louis was preceded in death by his sons, Benjamin Stickle, Louis Stickle III, and Jason White; his sister, Patty Core (Pete); and both of his parents, Louis Sr. and Delpha Stickle of Newark. May the memory of Louis Edward Stickle Jr. bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
