Lowell J.C. Newman, 78, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on January 30, 1947, in Troy, Ohio to Joe O. Newman and Rosetta. JC lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep devotion to his family, and an enduring commitment to learning and building.
JC served his country with honor through his US Military service, laying the foundation for a life defined by discipline and resilience. After his time in the military, he applied his skills as a welder on the Alaska pipeline—an endeavor that reflected both his adventurous spirit and technical expertise. With an engineer's mind and hands that could bring ideas to life, JC was known for his ability to fix or build just about anything. Whether it was a complex mechanical problem or a household project, he approached each task with patience and precision.
A man of few words but great depth, JC was always learning—curious about how things worked and eager to understand more. He carried himself with humility and quiet confidence, never seeking attention but always ready to lend a hand or offer support when needed.
JC shared over fifty years of marriage with his beloved wife Connia Newman, who sadly passed away just three months before him. Their bond was one of enduring love and mutual respect—a partnership built on faith and unwavering commitment. Together they raised two children Michaele and Kevin Newman and were blessed with two grandchildren Jordan and Madison Pavelko. Who brought more joy and love into their lives.
J.C. was a silent provider who took care of those he loved without fanfare or complaint. His presence was steady and reassuring—a source of strength for those around him.
A man of faith, JC loved Jesus and lived according to values rooted in kindness, integrity, and devotion. Those who knew him take comfort in the belief that he will be reunited with Connia and be embraced by the peace of God's presence.
May the memory of Lowell J.C. Newman bring comfort to all who knew him.
