Luanne Catherine Cofino
Our beautiful sister, Luanne Catherine Cofino, was called to Heaven on October 1, 2025, at the age of 65. She is now reunited with her precious son and only child, Billy, who was the center of her world and the brightest part of her life. There is comfort in knowing they are together again – joined now with our cherished parents, surrounded by light, and forever watching over us.
Luanne fought a long, courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsey (PSP), facing this cruel disease with quiet dignity, remarkable strength, unshakable determination, and her unwavering faith in God. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister - a gentle soul, whose warmth and grace touched everyone around her.
Luanne was the devoted daughter of the late Louis Joseph Cofino and Barbara Ann Cofino. She is survived by her two sisters, Elaine Phelps and Gayle Turgeon, who walked beside her through life's joys and hardships. She also leaves behind two devoted brothers-in-law , Jimmy Phelps and Bill Turgeon as well as her beloved nieces and nephews Austin and Michael Phelps, and Kelly and Sophia Turgeon– all of whom adored her and will carry her memory with love. Her faithful dog,
Blue, was her constant companion and brought her comfort and peace during life's most difficult times .
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Saint Coleman's Catholic Church

Following the service, the inurnment ceremony will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery 12:30 pm - 1:00pm
