Lyle Edward Lantz

Lyle Edward Lantz, 78, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Venice, FL. Born on July 10, 1947, in Fort Wayne, IN, Lyle is survived by his loving spouse, LuAnn Lantz; children, Kimberly (Paul) Rozelle , Jacob Lantz, and Leslie (Katherine) Gomez; sister, Susan Diller; stepsons, Charles, Robert (Shawna), and Thomas Worman; ten grandchildren and a great grandson. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Margaret Lantz; sister, Carol Beard; and brother, Lewis Lantz. Lyle enjoyed discovering new places and his travels took him to every state. His career as a computer programmer allowed him to live in a variety of cities including Louisville, Chicago, Denver, Dayton, and Portland, Maine. He was an avid fisherman, talented guitar player, and dedicated basketball fan. Lyle will be remembered for his non-judgemental nature and acceptance of whatever life brought him. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
