Lynnell Walters Sr., of Gary, IN, entered eternal rest January 13, 2026. Apostle Walters was a pillar of faith and a devoted family man whose impact will be felt for generations. A man after God's heart, he spent over 40 years pastoring, cultivating spiritual growth, and leading many closer to Christ. Known for his unwavering conviction, "Sirs, I believe God," he fought the good fight and kept the faith. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Delores Walters; five children: Dr. Derrick Walters (Pamela), Wesley Walters, Joseph Walters (Bertha), Joycelynn Walters, and Janelle Williams; three generations of grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday January 20,2026 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. with a Night of Tribute at 6:00 PM.
