Madelyn Lopez-Wetzel

Madelyn "Wima" Lopez-Wetzel, née Luciano, passed away on January 5, 2026, in Racine, Wisconsin. She was born on September 22, 1978, in Milwaukee and was 47 years old.

Madelyn's life was centered around her family. She was the devoted mother of six children: Madeline Destiny Lopez-Wetzel, Angelina Lopez-Wetzel, Fernando Lopez-Wetzel Jr., Yamelli Oshkeshequoam, Vincent Tadych, and Andrew Tadych. She was a proud grandmother to Eres Lopez-Wetzel.

She shared close bonds with her sister Michelle Sirovina (Tanya) and brother Michael Salinas (Becca), as well as her uncle Ramon Elizondo and aunt Lisa Lee. Four nieces, along with cousins and close family friends, also held a special place in her life and continue to cherish the memories they made together.

Madelyn is now reunited with loved ones who preceded her in death: her husband Fernando Lopez-Wetzel; her father Angel Luciano; her mother Rebecca Lee; and her grandmother Sulema Elizondo.

Visitation and service to follow will be held on January 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Peace of Mind Funeral Services, 5325 W Greenfield Ave. Burial will take place on January 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Arlington Cemetery 4141 S 27th St.
