Marcia LaCombe, a loving mother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2025, just days before her 71st birthday. Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on December 26, 1954, Marcia grew up in the area and attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School until her freshman year, later graduating from Ypsilanti High School in 1973.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis (Fro) LaCombe and Allegra (Lee) LaCombe. Marcia is survived by her only daughter, Heather LaCombe (Keith Ingram), her siblings John LaCombe (Judy) and Janice LaCombe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who will miss her deeply.
Marcia worked as a pharmacy technician at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, dedicating many years to helping others. She was also an active participant in the PACE program in Ypsilanti, where she made lifelong friends and formed deep connections with the wonderful team there.
In her spare time, Marcia loved to craft, color, do crossword puzzles, and collect bracelets. She had a warm and kind spirit, and her hobbies brought her much joy and allowed her to express her creativity.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, and the family will notify loved ones with further details.
Marcia will always be remembered for her love, kindness, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.
