Margaret will be remembered for her endlessly caring nature, deep devotion to her family, and a Long Island accent that never faded the slightest bit, despite several decades of her living in the South. No one genuinely appreciated small gestures of kindness like Margaret did. If she told you the short text you sent her made her day, she meant it. Wholeheartedly. To her, every greeting card was a literal treasure. The only thing that rivaled Margaret's love for her family was her deep and abiding love of animals. Without doubt, she is currently giving long-awaited belly rubs and ear scratches to a long stream of former pets in the afterlife.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Christopher and Chisto, and by her grandchildren—Bryn, Dashiell, Boe, Julia, and Elliott—who brought immense pride and happiness into her life—as well as her partner, Shirl, her sisters, Jo Ann, Kathy, Annette, and Theresa, and her beloved nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her, but memories of her will always be a comfort.
