Margaret Ann "Peggy" Kite, age 90, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in Voorhees, New Jersey. Born on August 22, 1934, in Camden, New Jersey, Peggy lived a full and vibrant life rooted in family, creativity, and joyful pursuits.
Peggy was the beloved wife of John Kite, who preceded her in death in June 2021. Together they built a loving home and shared many cherished years of marriage. She is survived by her devoted children: daughters Janet (Jim Collins) and Nancy (Will Goins), and sons Jim and Rich (Amy). Her legacy continues through her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
A woman of many talents and passions, Peggy found great pleasure in sewing and cross-stitching—crafts that reflected her patience and attention to detail. Her love for house plants filled her home with life and color, while her green thumb extended into the garden where she spent countless hours nurturing flowers and vegetables alike. She also enjoyed square dancing and traveling, embracing both movement and exploration with enthusiasm.
Family gatherings were especially meaningful to Peggy. Whether it was a holiday celebration, a vacation getaway, or a birthday party, she treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved most. These moments created lasting memories that will be held dear by all who knew her.
Peggy's warmth, creativity, and enduring love for her family leave an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
Margaret's wishes were to be cremated.
