Margaret was born in Quito, Ecuador to her parents, Galen and Mirna Flory Wolfe, who were missionaries at that time. Margaret grew up in Hereford, Maryland and then went on to Bridgewater College in Bridgewater Virginia where she graduated in 1975 with a bachelor degree in music and then pursued her masters degree in Christian education in Chicago at Bethany Seminary. Margaret returned to Maryland after graduating and in 2000 moved to California. Margaret lived and worked in Leisure Village in Camarillo, California with her husband James Thompson where she peacefully passed away on January 20, 2026. Maggie, as she like to be called was an avid traveler visiting many countries in the world and national parks in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado.
Margaret is survived by her husband James Thompson sister, Catherine Powers and her husband John, brothers Luke Wolfe, James Wolfe, Paul Wolfe and his wife Karole Lynne Wolfe.
