Maria Cruz

Maria Cruz (known to many as "Mary Schultz") was born in La Paloma, Texas in 1947, and raised in Michigan. Early in her teenage years, her parents moved the family to Tempe, Arizona. During her journey, she had an unwavering faith in God and family.

She was a dedicated mother of three, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of six. She was a loving daughter, sibling, aunt, cousin, and friend. She had a successful career as a heart pacemaker inspector for three decades and went into retirement, ready to be a grandma and 'G' to all those who knew her.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, drawing, gardening, painting, reading, and traveling. She was very creative, and loved doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maria passed peacefully with loved ones in Chandler, Arizona at the beautiful age of 78.
