Marian Gudrun Kessel, born in 1942 in Seattle, Washington, passed away on December 16, 2025.
She lived a full and accomplished life defined by dedication, generosity, and deep love for her family and friends.
Marian built a successful career in the corporate world, earning the respect of colleagues through her intelligence, determination, and leadership.
She took great pride in her professional achievements and approached her work with confidence and integrity.
Outside of her career, Marian embraced life with enthusiasm. She enjoyed traveling, games, entertaining friends and family, and spending time on the golf course. She had a gift for bringing people together and creating lasting memories.
A woman of compassion and giving, Marian was a devoted supporter of
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Salvation Army, and the
Wounded Warrior Project, causes that reflected her care for children, families, and those who served others.
She will be reunited with the love of her life, Ronald James Kessel, who preceded her in death in June of 2003.
Marian leaves behind a loving combined family of six children and their extended families, all of whom will greatly miss her warmth, strength, and unwavering love.
Marian will be remembered for her generosity of spirit, her zest for life, and the meaningful impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to one of the charities she so generously supported.
