Marian Haines Radosevich, aged 95, passed away on April 4, 2026, in Athens, Tennessee. Born on January 11, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Joseph Haines and Mildred Williams Haines, Marian was a cherished figure in her community and family.


Marian led a vibrant life marked by her passion for reading and playing bridge, often engaging in several books a week and participating in bridge clubs. Her early years showcased her talent as an ice skater, performing with the Ice Capades during the 1950s. Marian's commitment to her faith was profound; she served diligently as both a deacon and elder in the Presbyterian Church USA, contributing to many church activities and lessons. She was a member of Brentwood Presbyterian, Bethesda Presbyterian, and most recently, Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson, SC.


Marian was the beloved wife of George Radosevich for 62 years until his passing on April 4, 2016. She is survived by her children, Mark Radosevich (wife Debbie) and their sons Nicholas and Alexander; Marcia Radakovich (husband Dan Radakovich Jr.) and their sons Christian (wife Ava and their daughter Cecilia) and Grant; Ruth Ann Free and her son Garrett Free (wife Hannah and their daughter Noelle), and daughter Rachel Free (husband Cory Botti); and Susan Schlepp (husband Doug Schlepp) and their daughters Geneva Bernsten (husband Beau) and Mya Schlepp. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Charles and Richard Haines, and her sister Joanne Weber.


Marian graduated from Baldwin High School and spent her life enriching those around her through her hobbies, community involvement, and unwavering support of her family and friends.


In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Oconee County SC Humane Society or the Friends of Anderson County Library. These organizations reflect Marian's love for community and her compassionate spirit.


The arrangements for Marian are being handled by Companion Funeral Home in Athens, Tennessee. Her life and legacy will continue to be celebrated by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.
